Finale 1° 2° posto velocità alle olimpiadi di Athens 2004.
Si affrontano l'olandese campione del mondo Theo Bos, e l'australiano Ryan Bayley, che era terzo al mondiale.
La prima prova la vince Bos in rimonta, le altre due le vince Bayley in maniera splendida.
Bayley vincerà l'oro anche nel keirin.
