Well, there you go, another World's, and completely different results - countries that don't have huge huge dollars going into track programs as Great Britain (and believe me, I'm a Brit and a huge fan on Britain's track program and Manchester and all) are trouncing Britain's athletes. But come on US-powers-that-be, it's mindset! We have great and committed athletes, but they need support and encouragement, not bosses who say we're never going to get there. Look at Daniel Holloway and Shelley Olds from "lowly" Hellyer, they made it!!!! As a country we're going to get there, we can get there, there's no reason why not, we can have World Champion and Olympic Champion athletes on track again, but it takes time and focus and committment and support, and that message being communicated to our athletes. The USA is not just Final Four, NFL, NBA, NHL, Nascar, we're all the niche sports that make up this great world of sporting achievement too, and we lead the world in sports marketing, and we'll achieve so much if the powers that be could broaden their horizons and see the possibilities. But it does look like we're making baby steps, one step at a time. And thank you AEG for ADT. Go Daniel, your time will come. And Way to go Taylor, Kilo and Pursuit, what a combo!!!
